What is a good domain authority score?
It depends entirely on your competition. 20–40 is normal for an established small business; 41–60 is a strong niche brand. What matters is your score relative to the sites currently ranking for your target keywords, not the absolute number.
Does Google use domain authority?
No. Google has stated repeatedly that it has no site-wide authority score of this kind. Domain authority is a third-party estimate of competitiveness — genuinely useful for comparison, worthless as a target in itself.
How do I increase my domain authority?
